CORPORATE CERTIFIED E-MAIL ADDRESS (PEC) N.B.: continuously monitor the mailbox

Without prejudice to the obligation for all Italian companies to have a corporate certified e-mail address (PEC)  - Art. 16, c. 6 -  11 of Italian Legislative Decree 185/2008, note that every mail sent or received through said certified e-mail address (PEC) is legally valid and therefore has legal effect in cases regulated by law.

According to Italian Presidential Decree No. 68 - 11 February 2005 in fact, the sender's sending receipts and delivery receipts are equivalent to a registered mail return receipt and as a consequence, in the case of disputes, may be presented before third parties in court:  it is therefore recommended to constantly monitor the corporate certified e-mail address (PEC) as every return receipt can be presented as proof of expiry of time limits.
