OBLIGATION TO PRESENT CRIMINAL RECORD FOR JOBS IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH MINORS: not required for apprentices, trainees and  juvenile workers.

The Ministry of Labour, with a response to question No. 25 on 15 September 2014, amongst other things, explained that:

  • also for apprentices, trainees and juvenile workers the employee is not required to meet the obligation for personnel working in the same production unit, also when usually performing tutoring activities occasionally, and in any case in addition to the main work activity for which they were hired;
  • the obligation in question must be met when hiring the worker and not in the case in which, during existing work relations, the same begins working in another activity that comes under the field of application of the regulation.
